Our current committee members here at Bidston Sports Ability decided to create the club in 2003 in order to give people a chance to make new friends while sharing their passion for badminton. Our community soon developed into a regular part of our members' lives!
The orgnisation was originally called Bidston Junior Badminton Club until 2010 when our juniors were no longer juniors and we started to form alliances with S.E.N schools and started to develop Boccia and Para-Badminton. We formed Bidston Badminton Club which offered a social setting for developing adult players and a pathway into Bidston Senior Team. BSA offers two sports that can be run as parallel activities and a seamless pathway from our Bidston Bullets to our senior club.
For the love of the sport' Learn , Play, Compete, Succeed
Bocciacise will include fun preparing to play activities and thorough stretching. we will have music on, let us know if you have any requests, and our instructor will take us through some invigorating chair exercises
Our Thursday session at Birkenhead Youth Club is disability friendly but is pure boccia and we have inhouse competitions throughout the year.
Boccia will never be the same again!
